New Jedi & Sith Professions
Status: ROLLING OUT (90% COMPLETE)
We are splitting the legacy Force-sensitive profession apart to deliver specialized, lore-rich tracking for the Jedi and Sith.
Jedi Path Progression:
- Initiate: Learn foundational abilities like Shii-Cho Flurry and the peace-centric Sun Djem Strike (Mark of Contact).
- Padawan: Unlock defensive forms like Soresu Riposte and Saber Block.
- Knight: Deepen your connection to the Living Force with Heal and rapid, non-lethal strikes like Shiak Lunge.
- Master: Reach the pinnacle of defensive superiority and physical resilience, wielding advanced Detect Camouflage and flawless saber strikes.
The Sith Progression will be following closely behind within the next two weeks, offering devastating offensive forms, Force Chokes, and Dark Side corruption mechanics.
Dynamic Quest System
Our completely custom quest architecture bypasses the traditional SWG required static `.iff` datatables. Quests can now be injected ad-hoc straight into your client's memory.
- Fully Programmatic: Designed entirely in Java using fluent Builder patterns, bypassing database bloat using pseudo-CRCs dynamically bound to Object Variables.
- Zero Downtime Updates: Allows us to create, modify, and deploy new quests to the player-base without ever requiring a server reboot or forced client patch.
- Rich Task Variety: Support for 'Kill Multiple Targets', 'Wait For Signal', 'Assassinate', dynamic space ambushes, and complex 'Escort NPC' missions seamlessly handled by our player state manager.
"This modern system lets our developers build story events and live campaigns simply by writing an elegant Java block and orchestrating the JNI bridge out to the C++ Engine."
Enhanced Combat Engine
The core combat architecture of Star Wars Galaxies operates off incredibly complex, monolithic legacy scripts. We are rebuilding this from the ground up.
- Modular Object-Oriented Refactoring: Splitting the combat basis into specialized, highly maintainable POJOs (Targeting, Healing, Visuals, Damage Engine).
- Combat Facade Pattern: While the internals are entirely modernized in Java 11, it seamlessly links with original C++ triggers natively, avoiding breakages.
- Future Proofing: This efficient, clean operation paves the way for much faster combat resolution, lag reduction in mass-battles, and deeper buffs/debuffs calculations tracking.
Procedural Level Design Engine
Going beyond static maps, Secura brings infinite variety through Generative AI and deep LLM context engines.
- Dynamic Areas: The engine analyzes the project context and creates ever-changing encounters seamlessly built into the natural terrain.
- Runtime Instancing: Bandit camps, crashed starships, and rare resource veins are injected procedurally to ensure that exploration never runs stale.
- Statically Baked Adventures: Utilized by our development team to rapidly build large, lore-accurate multi-tiered bases via LLM generation to deploy in major patches.
Bounty Hunter vs. Smuggler Revamp
A profound rework drawing directly from The Bounty Hunter Code and Smuggler's Guide, crafting a living underworld environment where Smuggler actions fuel the targets for the Guild.
The Smuggler's "Heat"
Smugglers take contracts from bosses (Jabba, Talon), picking up illicit cargo and running blockades. Carrying contraband generates 'Underworld Heat'.
High Heat causes Imperial patrols, and reaching critical heat pushes an automatic PvP contract onto the Bounty Hunter terminal. Master the paths of The Gunslinger (burst damage) or The Scoundrel (debilitating slicing & dirty tricks) to survive.
The Bounty Hunter's "Pursuit"
Taking contracts off active Smugglers or PvE marks, using deployed Arakyd Seeker Droids to track targets across hyperspace.
Will you choose The Apprehender route, utilizing Electro-Nets to capture targets alive in Carbonite for triple the profit? Or walk the path of The Assassin using Sniper Shots and Thermal Detonators to leave none alive? The choice is dictated by the Guild.
